| 1. | Select Install Soft Fonts... or Install Font Pack... from the 'File' or 'Fonts' menus. |
| 2. | Click Browse to locate the folder where the fonts are stored. A table of 'Likely font files' or 'Font packs' (extension *.FIF) are shown. |
| 3. | Click to select a font or sweep out to select a range of fonts or use Select All from the right-click pop-up menu. (To view the characteristics of a font, select it and click Details.) |

The ID is used as the file name; a warning is given if there is already a font with the same ID.

| 2. | Click Show Fonts to add more RFF or HP soft fonts to the list of 'Resident fonts' in the RESIDENT.FIF file. |
