The problem lies in the way the TIFF file is being printed. If you open the TIFF file in EscapeE (it views TIFFs as well as PCL files) then it will print correctly. However, the Imaging program that comes with Windows® for example, allows a top and left margin, so the text prints too low and too far to the right. The solution is to reduce the area of the TIFF to the printable region by exporting only the selected area: see Image import/export options.
