| 1. | Select Open... from the 'File' menu. |
| 2. | Select the control file and click Open. The composite document is displayed. |
| 3. | Select Edit control file from the 'Edit' menu. The file will be displayed in an editable text window, unless you have set up an associated program (see below). |
| 4. | You may use the keyboard to edit the text, or you may 'drag and drop' filenames selected from your file manager into the text window.
When you have finished, EscapeE will prompt you to confirm whether or not to save any changes you may have made before displaying the document anew. |
