Separate DLLs (Dynamic Linked Libraries) are used for exporting - they should be installed in the EscapeE program directory:

When you mark up data fields and extract them, EscapeE creates a file with the field name definitions.

The output file may be created using this temporary extension and then renamed when complete. The temporary extension can be changed using the /TEMP ext option.
